I am a rookie doctoral student, finished my Master of Science in Technology last autumn and started my doctoral studies this summer. I am currently working on the paper converting and packaging technology field, although my background is in the chemical engineering, polymers and biomaterials. Therefore, my main interest is to combine a different kind of materials to develop sustainable packaging solutions. My research focuses on packaging applications including nanocellulose and other biobased coatings, which satisfy my goals as a doctoral student very well. The aim of my research is to offer possibilities for the growing need of renewable packaging products.
